Playworks Washington, DC is making schools healthier, happier places for 3,700 kids in 13 DC elementary schools every day.
Playworks is the only national organization that sends enthusiastic, trained adult program coordinators ("coaches") into low-income schools to focus on play as a learning opportunity.
Playworks coaches create energetic, fun environments at recess and throughout the school day, teaching essential life skills such as teamwork, conflict resolution, empathy and fair play.
By donating or forming a team and encouraging your circles to support you and Playworks, your efforts will help;
Reduce bullying, creating schools that are safe, inclusive, and conducive to learning;
